The falling characters are Inuktitut, Cree, Ojibwe, Dene, and Carrier syllabics (ᐃᓄᒃᑎᑐᑦ) from the Unified Canadian Aboriginal Syllabics blocks, mixed with French and English letters, reflecting Canada's Indigenous, francophone, and anglophone linguistic heritage.
The colour gradient is inspired by the Aurora Borealis emission spectrum: a bright white head fading through crimson, violet, and dominant green to deep red and black, an artistic interpretation that stays close to the colours produced as charged solar particles excite atmospheric oxygen and nitrogen at different altitudes.
Together they form a digital portrait of Canadian identity: Indigenous heritage, northern lights, and the bilingual mosaic, rendered as an endless cascade of light.
